   It’s been a long time, but I recall an article critical of libertarianism (at least in its more extreme forms)in National Review in the 1980s in which Russell Kirk denounced libertarians as “chirping sectaries”. IIRC, his argument was that if you believed in limited, constitutional government, you were simply a conservative, but if you believed in no government, you were one of the “chirping sectaries”.
